Smoke

There's still a bit of flame in me.

But still they cough when I try to warm them

And still they scough when I say I'm important.

My glow may be gone

But I am still here

And I still flow!

They can never reach me

So I wonder if I will return again.

Instead, I will go where I am welcome.

And they will always be curious -

Always, about my adventures.

I am grey.

I am dark.

But my light will come again!

Just for now,

Only for now,

I am smoke.
