Smoke Break from Reality

(poemsSmoke, transparent through and through, drips out. Rings, like that which we once commited ourselves with, spin in on themselves. Rising into the air they disappear into darkness. The air is crisp, interacting with my nerves. Chills, like the ones your finger nails brought down my back, swells down my body. The smooth nothingness of the night sky captures my attention. Complete openess, like that which your eyes always held, over takes my mind. A car drives on the road. Coming to a stop, the door cracks open, illuminating the car of all it's contents. I lean over and kiss you, the only time where one plus one is still one. Then, like the smoke coming from the tip of my lit cigerette, the memory fades, and the street is empty again. One street light cascading rays of hope on a lonely blacktop. I pull the last hit of this death stick, the embar brightens my face as the smoke leaks into the night. Memories are all I have now, but like the smoke of this cigerette, they all eventually fade into darkness. go here)
