Smoke, Haze
I can not only hear my heartbeat,
but feel it too
Like a tree,
it's roots give and take my blood throughout my body
My blood,
My sweet blood
ready to flow,
fill,
fluster
No longer stagnant
in my chest,
in my throat
My bitter blood,
rushing to my head
thick with the heat of my thoughts and fantasies
Sweet poison,
Hazey prison
Bittersweet,
Dark chocolate
