Snake

I'm a snake on the low and I've finally shed my skin
I'll be honest and tell you that the heart is easy to mend
I've been beaten and broken my mind losing its role
I now sit back and let god take control

I'm a snake on the low and I'm shedding my skin
this story I now tell you from beginning to end
I have patched all my wounds and prepared my poison
I seduce you in dance as your lips you do moisten

I'm a snake on the low and I'm slowly adapting
to this new world order and the prey I'm attracting
no more slyly approaching and stalking my prey
for my heart has been mended to my own dismay
and I open my eyes to the possibility's that whatever I want
and whatever I need I don't have to be sneaky like these other ophidian's to achieve
all I really have to do is be free to be me
