Snake's Delight

Slipping, sliding Through the grass, Not deceived by a Pane of glass. Tasting scents Upon the air, Crawling slowly Up the stair. Winding through An open door, Slipping silently On the floor. Being found By the open screen, Causing many a High-pitched scream. This, and basking In the sun's warm light, Is a little green snake's Fondest delight.
