Snap Shot of Beauty

Dancing dew drops above my head

Light illuminates each drop of water like tiny orbs.

Drops coagulate at the bottom of the sturdy fence posts.

Sweet scent of pine fills my nose.

Sun’s rays glisten on the lustrous green foliage.

Dreams flow through my mind like branches in the wind.

While my legs touch against the cold iron fence,

My lungs inhale the freshness and purity of nature.

I exhale all of my burdens

Leaving me in a euphoric state.

Rusted barbed wire penetrates my small feet

while I bask in the golden sun.

Distance becomes a blur...

I dream the day away in my alluring  paradise.
