Snapshot

Standing there in that delirious frenzy of the sea

Sun, surf, and sand around me

The blitheness of spring break in the air

With the sun sparkling I have not a care

Tranquility is the key

Wishing I could return to that perfect atmospheric sight

Where the Florida laughter was in the lights

Delighting in life right at that moment I go back

To that snowy lack

Now I’m just in a Minnesota’s wintry night
