Snow
Snow as white as the thickest cream
Like living in the clouds of a dream
Slowly coming out from my den
Snuggled at home, that's where I've been
Snowflakes falling from the sky
Riding the wind, they float and fly
Snow as white as a coconut's inside
Many plants have withered and died
Icicles dangling like long, clear teeth
Blanketed by the ice, the dirt lies beneath
Naked trees covered by the frost
With the endless snow, one can get lost
Snow as white as vanilla ice cream
Smothering a frozen stream
A breeze blows snow, so soft and gentle
A short blizzard rages, so swift and hostile
A lifeless place, no bird or leaf
A constant winter with no relief
Snow as white as pure sugar
The weather can be so vulgar
Tail being dragged, ears drooping
A struggle to survive
To find a way to stay alive
Snow as white as the cleanest wool
The winter winds are really cruel
My yellow eyes spot a hare
A glimmer of hope, I prepare
To chase my meal all the way
A lone fox hunting its prey.
