Snow

Everything’s covered with a blanket of snow Everywhere I look, everywhere I go A leaf falls on loneliness, but the snow falls with it’s friends And when falling together the whiteness never ends I turn to face the wind, and feel the snow flakes fall I listen very carefully, but hear only silence call The snow makes a covering, making dirtiness unseen Each little flake that’s falling is making everything look clean All my sins are covered with a blanked of white snow By His crimson blood, He did this I know There is no way that I could explain this mystery I just know His perfect ness is all that Gad will see I did nothing to deserve this pure and precious gift But in response to Him, my praises I will lift Your so great and wonderful, more than I can understand But I see such beauty, created my Your hand Such power, and such might, in the way the strong winds blow Such wonder and such peace in the falling snow Such beauty and such love in a sunset in the west And though I can’t explain You, You understand me best You’ve given me such gifts, so wonderful and neat You’ve given me such love, so powerful and sweet You’ve given me such friends, so patient, so kind You’ve given me such treasures I have yet to find Thank You Lord for sunsets, the moon, the stars, the snow And thank You Lord for all the many people that I know!
