Snow Angel
Snow- to so many is a pure beautiful thing-
Something to be enjoyed and venerated.
Living in Minnesota the novelty wears off-
Especially for people our age.
But seeing you beguiled by it’s inherent magic-
Going even so far to build a snowman-
Was such a cute and beautiful thing!
You are a snow-angel-
Brought about as a beacon to remind Minnesota’s inhabitants-
The beauty of our cold old tundra possesses-
At least for those to whom snow is new!
