SNOW ANGELS

This is who I am this moment now persists.
This is what I nary shun to feel.

Oh how the greatest pain distorts my better truth.

My humanity so thin.

Have you something new to lift my spirit bright.

For my Soul these days in darkness lives.

Lift me up and pull me from this morass of pain.

Transport me from my sorrows I beg this in refrain.

Oh dear Goddess bright, respite if you please.

My endless sobs and wails, these worn and tired knees.

Lift me, lift me ever high. The pain of tender love loss great

such as this I’ve never known. For long I cannot go.

Release me, heal me, love me warm,

good, and true I beg. Bring to me

my anguish twisted soul a calming salve.

A magic balm to heal my broken, shattered heart.
