Snow falls

Laughter and joyful noise filled the car

Eyes filled with promising futures

The snow was falling quickly on a cold winter night

Fear crept in as soon as those happy teenagers went off the road

They pleaded and prayed for them to make it out safe

Red and blue flushed the area of the crash

Rushing with lives to save, doctors feared they couldn't save them

Parents feared they would be gone that night

Friends feared they would never see the light of day

Boyfriends and girlfriends feared they would never love again

Fear is hearng you may never walk again

Starting a brand new life is fear

No longer being the person you are is fear

Conquering your struggles is not fear, but courage

But for now, the snow falls
