Snow Inverted

Snow White! They called the girl with Snow White hair

And skin as dark as all her hair was fair

Her lips still red as rose, and smiling too

At everyone she met, and saw, and knew.

Though dark as shadow, she was hard to miss

With striking hair and lips you'd love to kiss

She gave out kindness from her open hand

Hum'rously called "fairest in the land."

Her wicked stepmom, in a jealous rage

Swore she would write down Snow White's final page

She sent a huntsmen out to kill Snow White

But he allowed the girl to take her flight

The queen, now blind with fury and with hate

Directly gave Snow White some lethal bait

And Snow, she took the apple from the witch

And threw that poisoned apple in a ditch

So Snow White with her long hair all aglow

Exhausted all the efforts of her foe

Her kindness was surpassed by her own smarts

And still she retained purity of heart
