Snow White

She stared at the apple.

Beautifully red.

Absolutely perfect.

Too perfect.

She knew.

How could she not?

The old woman begged her to take a bite.

She was trying much too hard.

She knew.

How could she not?

And yet, she still bit it.

The poison apple.

Maybe this way, stepmother would finally be happy.

Maybe this way, she could finally be happy.

Maybe this way, she could finally forget the truth.

Was this the end?

Fear seized her body.

She struggled to claim her breath back.

She didn’t want to die!

But Snow White changed her mind too late.

Foolish girl.
