Snow White and the Not-So-Evil Queen
She just wanted to be beautiful
Believe that others saw her youthful
It was all that mattered to her
So strong was that desire, it drove her delusional
But, oh no, what's this?
The Queen is throwing fits
The Mirror tells her someone surpasses her charm
A young girl puts her at risk
That can't be true!
She wonders, "What must I do?"
Envious enough to kill,
Snow White is sent away and wished "adieu"
Not by blood are the two related,
So her step-daughter is very much hated
Considered competition,
The Queen orders her vacated
Unknown to the Queen
Is the girl’s bubbling plans for demean
Covered by her pretty face is a twisted mind
Snow White hungers to make the Queen scream
Turning the Lady’s servant against her,
Then joining forces with tiny men from the trees of fir,
An equally deranged girl begins to plot
A lesson the Queen will not fail to remember
Using trickery she controls wildlife
They complete her chores and will even pick up a knife
They do everything she commands
Her enemy is fated to face strife
But in the time without her step-child,
The Queen never once smiled
A little too late, she decides to make amends
She brings several sweet apples in a basket piled
Their encounter does not go well
Snow White pretends to be poisoned and under a spell
The forest creatures take revenge
All according to plan, underground the Queen now dwells
Luring a passing prince, Snow White is taken away
Claimed to be “true love,” with his heart she plays
So off to cause more turmoil
Snow White makes her way
