Snow White Has Nothing On Me

Oh dear mirror on the wall

Where does beauty belong?

Is it the flesh that we are born with?

The natural cuves of our body that move with every rise and fall of our breaths

Or is it our cover?

The body that we hide wth layers of clothes

The fashion that we carry on our backs that say "look at me!!"

Even before we open our mouths

Is beauty the tinted chemicals that we smear on our skin to cover up the blemishes, the imperfections

Any litle things that wold be seen as "ugly"

Is that what beauty is?

The consant worry that we aren't to par?

When those standards are ones we put on ourselves

The restrictions aren't our bodies it's our minds that need the fixing

Clearing out the dirt that says you aren't worth it

Because beauty is the inside

In your mind where love and intelligence flourishes

Where creativty makes you unique

Beauty is the body you cherish and everything you love about yourself without thinking

Beauty is when the mirror smiles at you to say

"You are strong, you are special"

Mirrors aren't the image

Mirrors are the feelings that make you happy

That make you want to see your bare skin

Mirrors are to see the beauty

Not to shatter it

Beauty is you and the mind that you wear

Beauty is the courage to say "I'm worth it"

You're worth it

Mirror mirror on the wall

Didn't you know I'm the fairest of them all?
