Snowflake

As I glide gracefully down

Moving swiftly without a sound

I am filled with happiness

But alas, also with sadness

My life lasts for but a few magical moments

A fleeting bliss that must draw to a close

Latterly I find peaceful repose

My brevity of life leads to little fret

The serenity I experience is heaven-sent

For I am able to awaken much joy

In every precious girl and boy
