Snowglobe Girl

Why was I born into this? Do I deserve an ivory tower? So when I leave for the day a silver tongue lost it's power? Bruise me, cut me, kick me With words sharpened for bite You've become my Achilles heel While I'm your love's Kryptonite Others on the street won't look twice because I walk with the crowd Trapped in my head; booby-trapped heart I'm struck deaf by the quiet so loud I'm the snowglobe girl, frozen figurine in a mad, mad world the rug's been been pulled too many times for me to be surprised when I'm hurled You've broken me once wrapped around your finger - a baton I'm no automaton; I CAN HEAL You've broken me once wrapped around your finger - a baton
