Snowmobile Blast

Dear Snowmobiling,

I miss the blur of the snow capped trees above me,
The untouched fields of snow calling my name,
The excitement of waking up to snow plummeting to the ground,
Winding through the trees towering over me,
The views from up top the hilltops.

I miss the revving of the engine,
Pinning the throttle to escape the powder sucking me in,
Wind pushing against my body yelling to slow down,
The thud of the track returning to the ground after being airborne,
Lining up with a buddy to settle who’s sled is truly faster,
The adrenaline rushing through my body.

I miss the pit stops for a refreshing soda,
A juicy burger with gooey cheese curds on the side,
The memories made horsing around on the lake,
Circling around not knowing the right way to go,
Long car rides searching for snow.
