Snowstorm

Snow trickles down, a blizzard coming near

yet tell me to brave the icy air

while it has gotten too cold for me here

will you be there for me enough to care

The wind grows stronger, picking up its pace

my world surrounded by the dance of white

my footsteps in the snow have lost their trace

you tell me I am not far from sights

I close my eyes to shelter out the cold

you came in the direction of the storm

when I fell down you took my hands to hold

and knew that you are here to keep me warm

What would I do without a friend like you

you're always someone who will follow through
