Snowy Day

As I rise from my bed

I glance out my window panes

Thoughts fill my head

Of Christmas and candy canes

The ground is covered in white snow

Glistening in the sun

It is then that I know

It is time for winter fun

Winter time is here to stay

Just like every other year

I wouldn't have it any other way

I love Minnesota weather and that much is clear
