Like So

"Like So"

You know it’s really hard to compare,

He’s always complimenting me.

I wish there was a way out there,

To prove I feel the same, ‘cause see-

He’s everything a girl could dream,

I can’t believe that he chose me.

And-

The way he smiles just because I smiled at him,

The way he makes me feel like I always win,

The things he says just ‘cause he loves me,

The words he proves that make me feel so free,

Are all so perfect,

And still yet-

What I really don’t know,

Is how to return his love like so.

You know it’s really hard to stare,

Without looking confused;

Into his eyes and wonder where,

He learned to love a girl and not make her feel used.

He’s everything a girl could want,

I can’t believe the luck I’ve caught.

And-

The way he smiles just because I smiled at him,

The way he makes me feel like I always win,

The things he says just ‘cause he loves me,

The words he proves that make me feel so free,

Are all so perfect,

And still yet-

What I really don’t know,

Is how to return his love like so.

‘Cause he’s-

Always there when I need his love,

It’s like he’s watching for a hug.

Always kind and caring,

He tells me when I’m disappearing

Into the abyss that swallows me whole

And pulls up my heart right out of that hole.

Yeah.

The way he smiles just because I smiled at him,

The way he makes me feel like I always win,

The things he says just ‘cause he loves me,

The words he proves that make my soul seem free!

He makes my soul seem free!

And it’s all so perfect,

Yes, completely perfect.

And still yet-

I don’t quite get

How to return his love, oh, oh,

How to return his love like so.
