So Bad (8/29/12)

So bad, so bad Never wanted this pill so bad The feeling now is the same as then Can’t seem to shake this Ambien. Yes, it puts you to sleep But not havin’ it has caused me to weep. It started with one pill to get me that good night rest, The feeling it gave me, was the best This way I had never felt The pain and my inhibitions it helped to melt The way it put a smile on my face The way it made me fly all over the place It’s made me lie and steal Cry and conceal My mom now keeps it on the lock down I keep turning my apartment upside down Stay lookin’ around But I just come up with a frown To this problem, my solution Was to find the right kind of substitution I stole more pills To catch more thrills Raiding the medicine cabinet Became a huge habit When I saw a pill bottle, I never hesitated to grab it Nothin’ could ever replace the Ambien Who was like a best friend I try everything, I search everywhere But the Ambien’s never there I know I need help, But I wanna work at it alone But alone I cry or I’ll walk around moping I’ll keep up my lies, with innocent eyes, And stay false hoping Waiting for Ambien, to come back to me.
