So Close But Not There

You feel so accomplished,

You feel so proud,

You are so happy,

Until you look closer.

Get a liscence,

No car.

Finish a big test easily,

Didn't pass.

Kiss your crush,

Get slapped.

Things all happen,

You feel so good,

Then you get turned around.

So close but not there.

Get a video game,

Don't have the system to play it.

Get a printer,

Don't have paper.

Get a universal remote,

Have no batteries.

So close but not there.
