So Far From Me
So far from me, my love, my joy, you art.
A past belief you cast upon the shore-
Only seven a day took you to change a heart
Of more. You taught a love never known before.
The world did rivet, my grasp too weak for fate.
But duty we had to part despite desire.
Now shattered to shards remains my lone estate.
Rekindled need I of the hope of fire.
Time is the one remedy-
Go fast! Go Fast! I need your warm embrace.
My wish! My wish! -to see you and be free.
Happy I wont be till I see your face.
Here I will wait for you- no length concern
My faith is true-only you I do yearn.
