So Hard

It’s harder than ever,

To face my greatest enemy,

But I keep on,

I need to stand tall,

Fight with courage,

And hold on and be strong,

But it’s hard, you see,

The enemy is sneaky

And clever,

And he knows my greatest weakness,

And I need to fight with all my strength

To beat this strong force of death,

That’s trying to knock me down

And tempting me to surrender to this evil,

And win me over.

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
