So I Weep

I went running

I have to stop, breathe and breathe

When I tilt my chin for air, I see the sky

I start to weep because I know nothing is beyond that sky

Empty space waiting to do something, but it can't

There is nothing beyond, nothing more than space

It's scary so I weep, try to breathe and breathe

Why can't I be content that there is something beyond

I know there isn't, so I weep

Then I think of the people who think different than I

and I weep for them too
