So If You Can

I'm self concious and nervous and awkward and a mess.

So if you can make me feel even a little better about myself, that's a point to you.

I constantly feel like I hate myself and think everyone around me hates me

So if you can give me validation that I'm not a piece of shit, that's another point to you.

I can get anti social and nervous around people and an axious mess

So if you can be there for me and help me relax, I'll probably fall in love with you.

In exchange I'll be there for you in any way I can.

Even through all my flaws, I can be fun and take you out of your comfort zone.

So if you can come with me, I know I'll make you less alone out there.

I can kiss you and hug you and give you physical reassurance when you need it,

but even when you don't I'll stick around and try to help.

When we both need our space, we can both give it and do our own things

So when we can get back together, we can share about what we did.

We can unite our bodies and keep our heads in the stars,

or just play some video games together late at night.

Regardless of what we can do for each other, it'll be great.

Even when the ride inevitably ends, I'll look back on how kind you've been to me

And I can only hope you'll do the same.

So if you can love me, I can love you.
