So long Attachment

Dear Love,

I've been infatuated with you from the time that I could speak your name.
Yet you have always been a silent killer,
killing me softly with false dreams of where my heart should be placed.

Telling me that his hands were secured by the armed forces yet they were protected by a 2 ft picket fence
that weren't even decorated with roses.
Instead, dark clouds loomed over us,
raining on any parade that wanted to preset itself and I stood there.
No umbrella soaked in devastation as you took all my joy.
My pride soon followed in my joys place,
I had to swollow every heartache by myself.
What happened to you being unconditional?

Have you went blind and forgotten how kind that I have been?
Sending me men that always break and never bend in my times of frustration.
No warm embraces,
no attention only false pretentions of what we were supposed to be.
Love, this the end of us.
My heart is so full of agony that it is on the brink of combustion.
You have become no longer trustworthy.

                               Profoundly no longer yours,
                                             Diamon
