So Long for Now

Another day passes by; another day Til’ my leaving

Hope you don’t cry to much; I might just do the same—

Leaving you is the hardest think I might ever do

But I’ll be back soon; So Long for now.

Stop begging and stop pleading; it won’t change a thing

Don’t just think you’re on a different level—

Do you think I want it this way as well?

But I’ll be back soon; So Long for now.

Walking out the door is as hard as ever

And you pressure even further—

So right now it may be for the best

But I’ll be back soon; So Long for now.

Days pass until I’m breaking down

Maybe you were right; it wasn’t the best idea as it was thought to be—

So I’m coming home; right here and now

And I’ll be back as soon as possible; So long for now.

So Long for now, so long for now, so long—

I’ll never be far away; as long as I’m thinking of you—

So long for now, so long for now, so long—

And until I’m gone; I’ll be here with you forever.
