So many people speakin of

So many people speakin of things

they know nothing about.

Assumptions turn into rumors,

turn into words slicing like knives.

It's got me thinking that Gandhi

saw the future possibility

of a blind society.

If I had  it my way, I'd change

their minds, open their eyes

to the inequalties in this big ol world.

I'd give em all a big frosty glass

of E-M-Pathy.

I'd have people of all shapes and sizes,

colors and varieties singing kumbaya

and 'pologizing for all the mis

understandings that have kept us apart.

Yes indeed. That's what I'd change.
