So Many Questions, No One to Answer Them


You say that no child is left behind When we all know that's not true. What about the kids who are on the streets? The ones that move from place to place? What about them? You give us 50 cents to provide supplies for 500,000 students who want to make this, build that, make their teacher a pretty picture Because they actually give a damn. ARE YOU LISTENING?! Doesn't feel like it. You wonder, "why are other countries kicking our ass?" The answer: they give a shit about education. Why is it that whenever their is a budget crisis, the first thing that's cut is education? Aren't students the future of America? How do you expect the country to function properly when our elected officials can't put their petty differences aside and compromise? Honestly, who cares if you are a republican? Who cares if you're a Democrat? Leave that drama with yo mama And run the damn country! Some days, I wish I could just scream at the top of my lungs: "Men and women fought and died to make this country great! Why do you disrespect their memory in such ways?" Because you can't get your shit together, you are violating our rights as stated in the Declaration of Independence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." We can't pursue our lives and happiness without a stable government.
