So many things about the world itself….so many things about struggles….so many things about her

“If the world was your classroom, what would you teach a girl?” So many things about the world itself... The world is made up of good and bad The world is made up of peace and violence The world is made up of living and dead organisms “If the world was your classroom, what would you teach a girl?” So many things about struggles... I would teach her about health and diseases I would teach her about right and wrong I would teach her about life and death “If the world was your classroom, what would you teach a girl?” So many things about herself.... She is smart not dumb She is beautiful not ugly She is somebody not nobody “If the world was your classroom, what would you teach a girl?” So many things about the world itself. So many things about struggles. So many things about her.

The repetition in this poem helps to reiterate how people should feel confident about themselves, and this is something we are both learning ourselves and teaching each other every day. Great poem!
