so much more than
when you see me do you really see me for me? Or do you see my luxious full lips, or my curvaceous body, or my thick, course afro? Do you just asume that I'm loud and disruptive and came to cause problems? Do you assume that I'm angry for no reason and have a bad attitude with four small children in tow all with different fathers and none of them in the picture? I was put here on this planet to break these strereotypes, that maybe the reality for some women of color but not for me. I aspire to be more than my hair and body that gets overly sexualized everyday in the media. I am more than the stereotypes that are made about every woman of color. When you look at me I want you to see me Malayasia Patterson not some stereotype or not even some hashtag, once the people of the world can be seen as individuals when truly can over can all things that separates us..
