So Much More

Like the verses, I am free.

Free to write what is in my mind

Free to feel what I feel,

Free to be who I am.

Poetry allows my imagination to run free,

Free like the birds in the sky or the fish in the sea.

I am no longer confined to others thoughts,

I can think and write for myself,

I can be original and vulnerable.

With poetry, I am free and so much more.
