So Much More

So much more out there

So much more than this

So much more than broken hearts

More than loves fleeting bliss

But my thoughts dwell on you

Blue eyes standing above

But I resist and I squirm

I don’t want your love

The things you might say

Would hurt me to believe

How you might say I’m special

Or that you loved me

Too many guys before you

Have looked at me so plain

Thought I was a playing piece

For loves fragile game

I’m sorry if you’re different

But I’m tired and I’m worn

Please don’t get stuck on me

Because there is so much more
