SO PROUD

Today

I learned

I learned how to be

Free from the pain that surrounds me

See it wasn’t physical

Something you can mentally feel

Although it somehow still gave me chills

I free’d myself of the burden of how and when

Now I just go with the flow and let life commence

I learned to laugh

I learned that I don’t alway have to go the extra mile and a half

At my own pace I’ll always be great

I learned to keep going and just have faith.

Poetry has taught me to feel

And i feel free
