So Speak

When the world's gone black

One would be a fool to consider going back

Change

Go along with the current

Instead of moving against the

Rage

But 'tis how we speak

Most innocuous, don't you think?

So much doublespeak

So much beating around

So speak, you fools

Be blunt, force yourself in

For that leads to change

And progress and revisions

Of society's most sacred and worthless laws

To think what you have is

Original, is creative

Is to go against humanity

Even Shakespeare stole

And he's held above all divinity

So speak, and be heard

And never wonder who said what first

Because worrying about the frivolous details of life

Leads us towards the age we fear

So when your Thanksgiving table

Features half-talk about all the latest fashion

Remember a simple statement of fact:

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are

Still dead
