So you ask Why I Write Poetry

Poetry is Love that the heart gives

Pain that the soul lives

Hate that is revealed

All into words, that's why I write.

Poetry is joy that the tongue spells

Sadness I may exhale

The faith in me I feel

All into words , that's why I write.

Poetry is medicine that keeps the body well

A story the heart tells

Black secrets that are concealed

All into words, that's why I write
