So Young
We were so young ,
The bumble bee’s stung,
So ready to grow up,
You’d have to fill my cup
So ready to leave and be free
You got too old to climb the tree
Not knowing what growing up would bring
Then came the spring
Smoke filled the room
No one checked, it led to your doom
You were fast asleep
No one wondered why the fire alarm went beep
Now you are gone
And I have no one to call on
My big brother has fallen
So my heart has been stolen
