Soaking up young rays of sun

Soaking up young rays of sun Lathering up the froth of bubbles Drifting clouds move at a run Bringing with them darker troubles. Rushing into teenage years Wavering clouds immersed in heat Falling raindrops act as tears Splashing waters and ground meet. Pushing, shoving years go by Clashing along with corporate powers Rumbling loudly at thunder’s cry Driving lightning to fling and fly Forcing a hand to reach and try Brightening against that fateful sky Until there come the grazing showers. Parting cloud from cloud Whispering rains fade Whitening the sky shroud Flowering grasses overlaid. Seeping back into another day Giving earthen pasts their time Bringing with it the month of May Enlightening the nestling’s warbling chime.
