Soap Box
Satisfaction has proved to be
A stumbling block
Repeatedly
My foot was discouraged
By its own
Thinking that it was unable
To rise
And generate foward movement
In one
Complete motion.
The stumbling block
Was the soap box
Of my own
Insecurities
It.
Lessened
The confidence of my mind
While preaching its own
Method of lurking self-hate
Merging with one less than.
Searching for a mind that would
Identify
With its message
Mine stood at the foot of the soap box
As my foot stood
Motionless.
