Soar

Let us rise like butterflies
Even higher than the skies can surmise
While the enemy we despise
Try to feed us truth-covered lies.
And in our enemy's eyes
We see the hate that it tries to disguise
With friendship of a pointless kind.

But, we shall prevail
When the ships of our desperation sail
Because we are not one's to fail
Even when the winds blow and wail.
Our hearts- though tender- are not frail
And can withstand the storms of snow and hail.

Come, let us press on
Till the night becomes the break of dawn
Because we have the ability to soar,
We can fly and so much more.
