Soaring - Future Aspirations

Enjoying what I love to do,

Quickly approaching the jump,

Excitement pumping through my blood,

Strides closing the gap all to soon,

The sun beating down on me as it gets to noon,

Racing and soaring, I was on a plane, flying through the air,

I can feel the eyes of many as they stare,

And then we land, cantering towards the end,

Never doubting our ability, we take home a ribbon again.

Poetic Device: Metaphor - 'Racing and soaring, I was on a plane, flying through the air'. Line 6.
