Sober with you
you're intoxicating.
I felt so alive when we spoke,
like back in highschool with those water bottles filled with vodka.
and now,
I can't seem to remember whats true,
who are you?
I wish I could be sober with you.
I never have chased shots,
but here I am chasing you.
It'd be best for me to refrain,
but my feelings never changed,
and my wills no stronger than champagne.
I just wanna call ya,
but here i am sippin' vodka.
Iv'e never liked whiskey
but it makes me wish you were here to kiss me.
and now i sit here wasted on the thought of you kissing my lips.
Drunk off the kisses that never even touched my lips.
So now, I'm hungover on the reality that we aren't together.
I wish I was sober with you.
