sobreviviente(survivor)

Alive as a surviving warrior. Scaling through everyday as a narrow escape. In a long life war with Hypoxia. An enemy whose weapon is a sickle. The city is robbed of her life tank. That the tissues are low in oxygen. Maids(haemoglobin) of the red blood cells, that have in their hands trays of oxygen. Are stabbed by thalassema. The beginning of the war was love. Love was carrier of sickle cell anemia. Our inheritance with love was gene. Which brought pain to our joint. And made us warriors that fight Asthma battle. The bullet in our guns are drugs. We conquer our enemy with drips. And we use bow whose arrows are needles. The battle ground is called ward. But we wouldn’t stop, we would be resilient. We would climb the tower of hope. And view our victory, jaundice can’t stop. Our soldiers are falling faster than the liver can bury them. The dead member (broken down cell) build up to form jaundice. But peace be still, we will be discharged. And retreat from the battle ground. Then our crisis are over, we are called survivors. Water is a good friend. Always at war with dehydration our worst enemy. And it helps us keep distance with the battle field. Keep your breathe. Keep fighting for life. indispensablecompanion. 2019.
