For some this is just a game,
But for me it’s not.
This is my life.
It’s allowed me to make lots of friends.
Even though practice is not always good,
They are.
You may not like them now
But you will appreciate the hard work later.
It is a way of showing people what you are
Made of and allows you an outlet.
I’ve always loved this game and always will.
When you’re out there you feed off the
fans cheering you on.
The feel of running, shooting, scoring
And winning is priceless.
The games are the reward of the practices and all the hard work.
Some may say soccer isn’t really a sport.
Just remember there are some kids who would do
Anything to play the game they love.
Don’t ever try and take this away from those who are passionate
For the sensational game.
This is more than a game for some.
