Social Anxiety

Social Anxiety will not consume

soon my life will resume

I will walk down the halls

always standing tall

not afraid of the students

I cowered in fear

with my shoulders hunched over

as I wipe away a tear

finding a friend was like finding a four-leaf clover.

Today I am strong

And I believe nothing will go wrong
