I see you through my screen, 

I see you post on social media,

I send you messages. 

I miss you, but I won't see you. 

Joking of getting arrested just to say hi,

Sending pictures of my mask,

Staring outside the windows,

Counting tiles on my floor. 

Social distance, strange I'm alone,

I used to enjoy quiet time,

Now I must distance until you can be with me again.
