Social Media and 2016 Teens

Instagram, Facebook,

That is all it took,

Took to lead these teens

Out into the streets

To live what they'd seen

On some little screen.

Instagram, Facebook,

Chained- stuck on the hook,

Hooked on a fake dream

Of life that's easy

Living on backstreets

They can't be happy.

Instagram, Facebook,

All they see is "Look,

Look at me I'm free!"

But it's just a plea

For notoriety

It's not what they need.
